Pokémon Trading Card Game Simulator Online:

This is an online simulator you can use to either practice decks against yourself or create a lobby to battle against someone else in real time.  There is a book button in the import tab to browse pre-built decks you can use, or you can use the 'Upload File' button to upload your own deck's .csv file to the simulator.  You can create this file by exporting a deck you make using the PTCG Deck Builder.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck Builder:

An online tool that generates a .csv file based on the deck you build on the site, which you can then import into PTCGSim.  The export button will give you the .csv file you need when you're done.

If you have a custome card that you need added to your deck, you won't be able to do so directly on this site.  First, build as much of your deck as you can, and then you can edit it after.  When you edit the `.csv` to add your own cards, each card should be on a new line with a specific format.  The format will be as follows:

{QTY},{Name},{Type},{URL}

For example:

2,Pikachu,Pokémon,https://assets.pokemon.com/assets/cms2/img/pokedex/full/025.png
4,Eevee,Pokémon,https://assets.pokemon.com/assets/cms2/img/pokedex/full/133.png

Breakdown:

- {QTY} (quantity) should be between 1 and 4, unless it is a basic energy card, in which case it can be between 1 and 59.

- {Name} should be whatever your card's name is.  Using spaces in the name is fine, however the name cannot have a comma in it.

- {Type} should be one of the following 3 options; [Trainer], [Pokémon], [Energy].  Pokémon must have the [é] and not an [e].

- {URL} should be the URL of wherever your image is hosted.  Some good examples of places to upload include Imgur, Google Drive, catbox.moe, etc

If you need a tool the edit the .csv file you can use the default notepad program on Windows, however I would suggest using Notepad++ available here.

Advanced Pokémon Trading Card Search:

This page is an advanced search tool for cards that can be used with the PTCG Deck Builder.  You can use this to find specific types of cards for your deck based on what type they are, what era they came out in, how much HP something has, etc etc.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Rulebook:

This is the most up-to-date Pokémon rulebook at the time of creating this page.  I'll update the link every now and again when a significant new rulebook comes out.  This book has nothing pre-Gen 5, so some mechanics you have questions about may go unanswered.

Pokémon Trading Card Maker:

You can use this tool to create your own custome cards.  Once you do so, you'll need to host (upload) the image someplace to use it in PTCGSim.  I would advise against using Discord to host your image, as the link will die after about 24 hours under Discord's new policy, meaning you would have to edit the link to your card in your .csv on a daily basis.

Custome Card URLs:

*Cards marked with an asterisk were not created by myself, but rather were created by a person(s) who is either of unknown origin, hard to track down, or otherwise unavailable.  Cards have been attempted to be cleaned up from the original .jpg files they were found as and converted to .png files to ensure transparency for rounded corners, as opposed to having white square edges.
